Consumers should stop using the recalled hats immediately and remove the drawstring to eliminate the hazard or contact Paramount Apparel to receive a refund or replacement item.

The hat is a nylon bucket-shaped hat with mesh sides. There are nylon fabric strips on the side of the hat that snap up. The front of the hat has a zipper pocket with a silver boat-anchor appliqué with embroidered text below. The hat adjusts with a bungee drawstring sewn in the crown of the hat. A label sewn into the back inside of the hat reads "Bass Pro Shops."
Exclusively at Bass Pro Shops retail stores nationwide from February 2007 through June 2007 for about $8.
