Check whether your vehicle is affected and follow the manufacturer’s recall instructions — the repair is free.
Rear impact guards with missing plates may not be identified in the event of a safety recall, potentially resulting in an un-remedied safety issue and an increased risk of a crash or injury.
The Recall Registry rates this worth checking — we found nothing in the notice describing a specific injury. A recall covers only the versions, UPCs or date codes it names, so check those against yours.
