For families
Write down what you have. We’ll do the remembering.
A car seat bought this spring can be recalled next winter. Nobody posts you a letter — the notice goes up on a government website you have no reason to visit, and the only people who see it are the ones already looking.

How it works
- Add the things your children actually use — the cot, the car seat, the pushchair. Type what you’d call it out loud. It takes about a minute.
- Each one is checked against the children’s product recalls we monitor straight away.
- Then checked again twice a day, for as long as you have it — so a recall published in June finds the seat you bought in March.
- If something turns up, you get an email saying what it is and what the maker will do about it. Usually a free repair kit, a replacement part, or a refund.
The Recall Registry is not a government service and cannot certify that anything is safe. Nothing found means nothing was found, which is not the same thing — and every recall links straight through to the agency that issued it.
What we don’t do
No adverts, and nothing about your family is sold to anyone. We ask for the things you own and an email address, and nothing else — no children’s names, no ages, no health information.
